My 4000s and ultimate pads do it aswell its normal as long as it doesnt do it all the time!

Mainly when there cold or braking softly . . .

That's normal for those rotors and pads match, my car wit a dba4000 and
Ds2500 brake pads does squeak sometimes, but not very seldom....

I have standard rotors with Ferodo Formula pads (DS2000)...under light braking mine make this freaky harmonic vibration sound, like a squeal but on steroids...It has been back to a certain work shop 3 times now...but no fix. I'm going to give them one more chance then I'm taking it some place else...and sending the bill to the original workshop!

Sorry for the rant, but if you do find a solution please share...

Had the rotors checked... might be in need of a skim, at the very least pull the pads out and have a look yourself. I doubt its a metallurgy issue, but you never know...

Just got a set of 4000s and ferredo 2500s installed and they squeaked off the bat on light braking.. think this is a characteristic of the pads as they are a performance variety.

Or should i be getting them checkd out??
