Default Deadbolt Monster TD04

Ok I am considering a mod to my exisitiing TD04. I have noted from previous threads that this can be done but is there any company in Australia that offers similar service?

DEADBOLT Monster TD04

The turbo that made us famous! We take a standard, stock WRX TD04 turbo and then let our mad scientists go to work! It gets our world-famous Monster Port(TM) process, which impoves spoolup, midrange power, lowers peak torque RPM level, and improves acceleration. Our Monster Port(TM) process was developed over a period of 2 years and included over 30 different angles, grinds, and smoothing techniques to produce the best possible results on today's Monster TD04 turbos. Also available with ceramic coating, compressor housing outlet port, and compressor wheel upgrades.

So a guy sits there with a dremel - and grinds down the inside - makes sense but probably not worth the money

even a high flowed td04 is still going to be a little on the small side for a 2.5L. Much easier to simply upgrade to a larger turbo and sell off the old td04.

I know that porting and polishing will help with airflow, but I am yet to see any evidence that the performance gains from the Deadbolt are worth the cost.

i.e. At US$449 + ceramic coating + extra bits, is it just better to get another bigger turbo?

Dave, isn't your turbo a twin scroll TD04?

If so, why not ugprade to a VF series twin scroll?

well that's why I was hoping to find a local or east coast company that can do the same thing. Since I am going to get Sean to fab a new dump pipe then verso I thought I might actually improve the flow of existing turbo at the same time.
