only if your making 220kw+ ATW when the stock headers start to run out of flow.

sorry to hijack thread..... quick one

if making the 220kwatw are you better off purchasing aftermarket xforce headers for example or porting the stock ones?

If you want your car to sound like a WRC rally car go for it! I prefer it over the boxer rumble myself.

they will make a difference if you buy decent headers, no question.

i have equal length hks headers and received +18hp with unichip, at the time of tune i had exhaust and thats all.
i am happy with the sound as it is still agressive but diffrent.

a equal length extrator will be great for ur engine ~

the boxer rumble sound is produce by different exhaust pressure of all the 4 cyclinders with the unequal length extrator ... thats is 1 of the reason y EJ20 engine wont last long ...

n thats is the reason y subaru start to use equal length extrator plus twin scroll turbo setup on JDM 02+ sti
