I vote, but the EJ207 Long motor and fit that up(selling old heads etc), then Verso...
will get a huge jump in performance just from that, and with that setup, you shouldnt be breaking too many boxes unless your really bashing them... My Vote!

I had the same issue in mine, put a ej207 short motor in it. Runs great.. waiting for the cash to put the new pooter and turbo on it

SAVE YOUR MONEY!
as J said, find motor/short block, whatever is cheapest. Do not get anything you don't need. enjoy it for a while longer and plan the next big thing. More fun.

"Short motor for $2500" is misleading.
Short motor is over 3k for a start, plus head service + oil pump + gaskets + timing belt + labour ends up being that 3k again. Cheapest you're looking at is 6k. |
