I've heard that D2s actually do a half decent job on the track where its relatively smooth. But on the street with potholes, bumps, and the general poor quality of Perth streets they will shatter your spine.

So Ive heard anyway...

Oops...

I didn't mean buckets of poo!

Rephrase: I know Adam and his Dad will be something of decent quality. These will shit all over lowered springs/stock strut combo.

Even a set of STI struts will make a remarkable difference to the standard WRX combo.

Chalk & Cheese in my books.

Take this example... Spec C STI Adjustables -> STD WRX (Even a standard STI will show these differences)

Looks fairly similar apart from the "pink paint"

Looking a little closer you notice the piston diameter to the std strut a little thin?

Now lets look at the STI Differences.. Atleast twice the diameter and best of all adjustable dampening rates.

Actually having driven dutton on them last year, i can tell you for certain that they are shit. Google failz yuo :P the reason people claim they are "awesome" for motorsport is becaus they are cheap shit stiff coilovers, which is perfect for cheap shit drifters, because they slide
