Default ok we broke it.. help?

Ok we installed a blitz boost contoller on sunday and now i only seem to be getting .5 bar (8psi) which would be the spring tension in the actuator..

Basicly the solenoid is not doing anything, we put it all back to standard and the same thing is happening. I even tried resetting the ecu and the same thing..

Help?

p.s we took the ic back out and checked all the hoses..

yeh i presume its limp mode but i thought resetting the ecu will put it back to normal?

why would putting a boost controller on cause me to need a new engine.. im not planning on any crazy boost and i have the supporting infrastructure.

i like being able to cruise at 8psi to work then flick it up when i want it

Get your workshop of choice to have a look at it. They can see exactly what has happened, check for CEL's etc and get you back to it faster than waiting for a forum reply.

Edit: Just upping boost without tuning for it can be a ticking time bomb. Why cruise around on 8psi then up the boost? Tune it properly and run the correct boost all the time.

Reseting the ECU will only clear the limp mode if you fix what caused the limp mode in the first place.

yup if you dont want to go fast push the accelerator less hard.

Is it not common knowledge that touching boost levels without a tune THE a no.1 way to break a wrx?
