Default Sprint Booster for drive by wire throttle

I came across this over on liberty forum, http://www.sprintbooster.it/index_eng.php
it's a signal amplifier that dramatically reduces the electronic throttle lag? One of the members with GT Spec B did the install on his, quote:

The car has totally been transformed, its SO much more responsive down low, and much more driveable off boost. 1st to 2nd gear is such a treat now....almost scary when first driving it!!

It feels like i've had an ecu tune done.....but for a fraction of the cost!! Still currently trying to get used to the different drive of the car....find my self riding the clutch a bit or bunny hopping because im still not used to how sensitive the accelerator is now, gotta lose my "heavy foot syndrome"!!! hehe

Anyone seen or know about these?

Id be very keen to hear all and any input or advice on this product....
The throttle lag is possibly the only downside to my current vehicle.

me too but one of the other members points to changing the throttle maps on ecu to get the same result. I am waiting patiently for Verso as I still wonder about how safe this mod would be. Playing with the throttle is a little bit of concern for me.

it probably "seems" faster because when you apply 20% throttle the signal is amplified and you're actually applying 40% throttle. plus for TWO HUNDRED AND TWENTY EURO i'd rather get a hooker

bahahaha and there so many lines I could use after reading that!

It's over $400 here. It's bound to be fast and dangerous because it's made in Italy!!

I want Intra's thoughts on this mod. It's either wait for verso tune or live dangerously! Come on Pete don't make me do it!

ECUTek has a fix which improves the response of the drive-by-wire...I had it uploaded into my car some time ago and it certainly improves it a fair bit...now tends not to "drive on" as much under hard braking.

As jester pointed out it probably doubles the throttle imput, so 20%=40%, 40%=80% and from 50% and over u are at WOT.

I don't know, but one presumes it could be....Steve just loaded it into the program and it improved the car. I only drive it, I don't tune it!
