can't beat a TD04 for torque and quick point to point.

I'd be inclined to recommend a small VF series for your 2.5 litre as a future upgrade, as you'll maintain those characteristics you're looking for. VF34 would be great on your 2.5 litre.

With regards to exhaust,

Last time i spoke to nick from ASG he said they had an exhaust and tune deal going which was an x-force TBE. But I have only seen mixed reports on the X-force TBE. I have heard they can be quite loud and droney? which is out of the question for me. Such a good deal though i thought!

EDIT: Wrong price, my bad.

And if your gonna go with a Process West IC, i would just go through them to keep your budget down!!

sales@processwest.com.au

I know theres a few people chasing different PW products, maybe we could work something out for cheaper shipping or something with Kevin?

I have an APS muffler you can have for 200 bucks...... not drony or excessively noisy.

Cheap insurance...but then each to his own...on my car I run an upgraded pump (as I did for 3 years in the MY02).

Volume of the "muffler" is related to the diameter of the outlet. X-force are up to 4.5" at the outlet I agree - they are loud and come from china, but for a first timers zorst system, arnt really that bad

As for your other MODS - sounds like your not gonna be 'ardcore, so zorst, tune and well matched springs/dampers (maybe bars) will really bring to life your new car Talk to the mechanics who will do the work - if they arnt "up beat" about what they do - they usually arnt competent.

Beware - after the first sortee into performance motoring, youll want more

Yeh tune, zorst and susepnsion. Also spend the cash and get a good wheel alignment! You will really notice the difference.
