The top mounts are efficient and work quite well 'up to' particular hp, boost levels. The bonus being the tract involved is short, maintaining decent throttle response. Another bonus with the tmic on suby's relating to the turbo/throttle location is ease of fitment. A front mount is a pita for what i want power wise (and spaghetti plumbing) and an upgraded tmic suffers heatsoak when stationary. You well know my requirements are street biased and utilising a kit that has removed a majority of the guesswork works for me. But if you like, i'll get you to fit the the 350chev shortblock pistons :D
Water to air.

All of the criteria you spoke of , without being limited in ATA. And its never a case of ATA works to a hp, because even at 2/3rds that power something may work better. Thats the difference between a good engine and a great engine.

Saf no offence but wrong forum to bang on about top mounts not working.

Clint, So what your saying is that ATA top mounts work as well on a street car as a encased WTA (and im not talking OEM Subi / Toyota or any other brand) or FMIC setups ?.

EDIT : And i never said they dont work, JME's oem one "works fine", but proving my point, if it worked well , he or anyone else would never ever look to change it. To make something more efficient, doesnt mean the original part doesnt work , but the new one works better.

Clint 14-11-2007 01:32 PM

No i'm saying your just looking to argue.

saf 14-11-2007 01:37 PM

You think that ?

If you have exp with a part, actually do this for a living, and offer a mate advice, thats a arguement ?.

Thats different. Ill not push the point no more then.

Clint 14-11-2007 01:40 PM

Don't get upset many of us have penty of experience too. I think jamie has clearly stated his intentions and has his limits and ideas already firmly in place.

It's all about knowing when to stop.

saf 14-11-2007 01:45 PM

Not upset at all Clint.

EXPLICIT 14-11-2007 01:46 PM
