What BALISTC said.
On a 3.9 Final Drive ratio GC8 gearbox - go no heavier clamping pressure than the Exedy Sports Tuff Clutch or YOU WILL break the gearset.

Do a Search on here for Jun Flywheel and the Exedy.....

Im pretty sure if you box goes after one 6k dump, either your box was almost on its way out, or you have terrible terrible luck.

Or you launch it into a grass pit, roll it, and i run over and tea bag your chin.

But i think it might be time for mine to be changed eventually so ill keep Mr Ross in the back of me head

Yes i agree, i have done proberly 20ish 6k + launches on my car and had no problems. If it is going to go it will go though.
Exeedy clutches seem to be quite good, just makesure you spend the bit extra and do a rear main at the same time. also a great time for a light weight flywheel
