Brake pads are probably the only half hour job that you can do in literally half an hour...
I wouldn't rush to machining rotors unless absolutely necessary. From experience most places don't do it very accurately and your brakes will never be true again without wobble or shudder.

Try Coventry's and price some Bendix Ultimates. Dusty, but good road pad with excellent bite that works well with Subaru and DBA rotors.
Disclamer: Only lasts 2.9 laps max at Wanneroo before they burst into flames but thats life

People NEVER learn.

They come on forums, ask advice, ignore it wholesale and then make all the same mistakes.

Mistakes like buying an APS kit, or getting ecutek or a unichip, or buying EBC brakes, or fitting strut braces before swaybars.

You're wasting your time giving advice. People just buy shiny stuff that's marketed well.

thanks for your enthusiasm on this topic, i really appreciate it, i priced around and found some ds2000 pads and compared them to the price of ebc. i got the ebc pads for 200 back and front as opposed to 360.... but hey..i make mistakes.

main question is how easy is it to put them on? but yeah thanks for your opinion...
