It's a piece of piss. I'd tell you exactly how, but you'd probably ignore my advice, unbolt the calipers and take the rotors off and put them in backwards - or something.

What Geoffa said...

But seriously, besides the fact carboard would work better than ebc, ask yourself the question of whether the $160 was worth saving when the time comes.

You could have picked up a set of Bendix Ultimates and like Morgan suggests, although dusty, would be your best bang (not literally) for buck choice.

From memory my ds2000's didn't cost much more than $300 from Perth Brake Parts. Run well on stock rotors, grip pretty good for the road.......interested to see how they go at the skidpan MC practice day on the 30th!!

Next update will be probably be 2500's and aftermarket rotors as I've been impressed by the Ferodo's.

...yes should have said I do not recommend ebc. Feedback from those that know say ebc is not the best choice with the metal used in DBA Rotors. The most common and affordable OEM sized rotors in Aus are DBA so why not buy pads that they recommend. Performance shops will sell you what they are agents for first, and what you ask for second.

OK give us a summary on how the EBC colored stuff worked?

Things like: Initial bite, hot and cold friction coefficient, rotor wear, fade, dust, any track days, noise, did the pad wear flat, km before fubared and cost?
