^^^^ what he said, also make sure you top up the coolant overflow bottle to 'max' level when its cold before you drive it to the mechanics

rocker cover seals leaking oil onto your exhaust/headers/up pipe/whatever hot part of the exhaust system.

I got same prob...looks like rocker cover gasket

teejay is probably right. very common thing for the rocker cover seals to go on subarus.

I'll second that. If it is that replace half moons, spark plug tube seals and bolt seals also. Did mine before i sold it!

my car always does it... checked power steering pump and it depletes the oil fast.. anyone have any ideas, mate says its the pump has cracks thru it or cv joints... got the p/s rack replaced last month.
