The Brembo's on the STI do seem to be alot better than our old WRX both for stopping ability and resistance to fade and wear. They could still cope with a Collie weekend on R-specs though. I think it comes down to driving style and how much you let them cool down. We did destroy a set of 2500's at Collie with the WRX (not me driving though ). I put that down to back to back runs and not enough cooling. Think it was the same day that subarooboy is refering to. I was contemplating ducting for the old car but since getting the STI we havn't had an issue.
