Just throwin the idea out there.

Edit - If i pull the vacuum hose of the BOV while the car is running and put it on my thumb i should feel the vacuum yeah?

Won't hurt the car if i leave it off for a sec while i blip the throttle to see the result?

Only reason i thought i'd ask is when the the car suffers the problem the exhaust is excessively "poppy" on the over-run after blipping the throttle, as well as struggling to start.

Make sure you block that hose though Rich when you blip the throttle.

All these solutions are tempory ones to get over the pits, isn't there anything that can be done for a permanent solution where the after market BOV is plumbed back and not making much noise, but also doing its job corrently???

There must be a brand out there that makes a silent after market plumb back BOV right?

Just use the stock BOV. Problem solved.

With mods it can hold 2+ bar easily.

Fair chance problem is solved... given that that thread is 2 years old.

Emm, got anything to suit MY99's?

But, with a FMIC, the stock BOV wont fit, will it?

Matt - I wasn't asking on behalf of the original poster... I'm asking for me. I want a silent aftermarket option so I dont risk getting yellow stickers in the first place.

Also, people get shat on for covering topics that have already been covered... but then people complain when people dig up old threads.... cant win!!
