Default Can a FMIC be turned into a radiator?

As the topic suggests can this be done??

As a radiator just is a core with a sealed chamber to circulate the fluids??

If so who can do it??

The inlets/outlets are wrong though yeah? You need one to be at the top, and one at the bottom ..

Sounds dodgy dude !!

Why would you want to do this? I know you can't fit a bigger radiator with your FMIC but if you did this you would have to run a top mount which wouldn't support your hp?

Methanol?

No. Cooling abilty of rads is designed to do it to water. Not air. Also the flow is aot higher in a fmic core. The rad has channels only a mm or 2 max whereas a intercooler has 3<5mm.

Cheers mate, Thats what i needed to know... But would have bigger channels allow for more cooling??

Back to the drawing board..

btw does anyone know of a local company that makes custom rads?? If so what the rough costing would be??
