Default A/c blower motor Dead?

Hi All,

Seems my air con blower motor has died or has jammed up (leaves?).

Does anyone know exactly were it's located inside the a/c casing inside the car? (passanger side? drivers side?)

I need to be able to get to it as it seems to be locked up (and blowing fuses)

Please don't tell me it's a dash out job...that would suck!!!

There was no indication of impending failure, no noises or anything, it just stopped on friday arvo (blowing both fan fuses).....

Summer coming need a/c!!

Thanks for any help!

fan is located under the passenger side of the dash, it is held in by three screws and is the left most thing sticking down. You dont have to take off anything to remove it. It will have a connector with 3 wires in a big plug

cool cheers for that.....

I have it out and it's rooted (control board fried due to small cluster of tree nuts locking the fan up)

Damn mini honkey nuts!!!

Need a blower motor if anyone has one......to suit 99-00 gc8 with climate control (if different from normal non-climate a/c blower)
