Default Tune Done Today - Axis Motor

Hi All,

Picked up my car from the wizards @ ASG, graph below, she goes well now...




Mod's are :-

Axis/Raw performance Track Series Block

. 2.5 Liter STi semi-closed deck case
· Modified forged EJ257 crankshaft
· High Performance Main & Rod Bearings
· Pauter 4340 Chrome-Moly Forged Rods
· CP Forged Pistons w/ Moly Coated Skirts
· High Performance Piston Rings
· Fully Balanced & Blueprinted
· 8,500 Rev Limit Recommended

My spec C heads with :-

. Kelford cams
. Titanium retainers etc
. Ported and polished

HKS GT2835 twin entry turbo
Tomei Headers
CAI
Full 3 inch exhuast


This thing is great to drive...

1.4bar, about 22psi I think, still running Sti top mount also....

Funny you say that, Sean had to back it off as the clutch was giving up the ghost, it has more in it.....

Sean recommended a twin plate, trouble is my car is a daily driver!!

Ron @ Axis recommended this block, said that this block will take 30psi all day everyday and the more expensive sleeved block was not necessary for my application.

I am glad I bought all this gear when the Aussie dollar was worth 96 cents.

hmmm interesting he was all for sleeving when i spoke to him early last year...

yeah you couldnt replicate that here for those dollars spent...


If your chasing more power then FMIC would definately be the go.. Who cares if it moves ur repsonse a little to the right... If you reverse ur inlet manifold you can save a good 1.5- 2 metres worth of piping...
