I drove Terry's Car with a twin plate clutch. Was very easy around town. He had a 2.5 and twin entry gt2835 too.

Besides the plate rattle when the clutch pedal was pushed in, it was barely any more difficult than a normal 6 speed clutch to drive with.

nice fat torque curve strong at 4k even. With the 6 speed that should stay nicely on the boil. Congrats. Good luck with the 257.

Ron @ Axis recommended this block, said that this block will take 30psi all day everyday and the more expensive sleeved block was not necessary for my application.

I am glad I bought all this gear when the Aussie dollar was worth 96 cents.

cheers

I was thinking it should have had more in it as everything apart from brand is pretty similar but I am running a TD05 compared to your 2835 and there should be more than 10hp in that, NM's are the same. These figures are based on my previous build.

Mine is a daily as well. The twin plate takes a tiny bit of getting used to but I wouldn't say it's any harder to drive than a normal clutch when you get used to it. There is alot more clutch in and roll than staying engaged but once you get used to it it's fine.

I am running the Cusco Carbon Twin Plate, well worth a look mate.

Yep, carbon only way to go if its twin or triple. Much more compliant for daily driving.
