Clutch kit
Im looking into a new clutch for my car, still deciding which one, I was looking this one
DCB Heavy Duty Clutch Kit http://www.xtremeclutch.com.au/catal...t_KSU23006.htm (I have a my02 wrx making about 240hp, once tuned again may be up to 260hp doubtful, but possibly) Anyways, has anyone got one of these kits? or, has anyone heard anything about them? are they any good? Failing that, if anyone has a good one what is it? EDIT: Just reading the thread http://www.perth-wrx.com/vb/showthre...ght=clutch+kit hmm, any other ideas? Hey dude... Basically anything with the 'Exedy' name on it will treat you well. Now, (im sure im gonna open up a can of worms here), but Extreme 'used' to have a lot of 'reliability issues' with their clutch kits... and quite a lot of people I know with jap cars that went that route, regretted, and then went for the Exedy. And I was warned from different workshops also to stay away from them. Now, im sure others will say they're fine, however, take it as you will. As for the link Dave posted, good options there. Either the HD or cushioned button will be more than enough for your application. (And not be a right carnt to live with). I have the button clutch, and looking back, would have gone with a twin plate or something 'less agro' moreso for driveability and easier to live with. I mean, its good, and you dont really notice it, till ya stuck in traffic.... lol. But yeah, Exedy are proven, and not to costly. You cant really go wrong with their gear. Happy upgrading. Brent.

In terms of labour. It should only take a workshop 3 hours to remove gearbox, machine flywheel, install new clutch and reinstall the gearbox.
