Default Whining from front end - Sound increases with speed

Hey guys,

Latly i have noticed a Whining from my front end, sounds like its coming from the passenger's side. Its most noticable from about 70km/h onwards, and when doing 100km/h on the fwy, it gets pretty loud and kinda annoying. Sound only comes when throttle is on, even with the smallest amount, and the pitch of the whine increases with speed. When coasting or just letting it roll at speed in gear, the sound goes away.

Sound is hard to describe. Closest way i could describe it would be the sound of reverse gear, but in higher pitch. Also, when making a right hand U-turn and sometimes when slowing down in a straight line, the front passenger side makes a "woo woo woo .." sound as if its related to the rotation of the wheel.

Any ideas on what i should be checking or what it could be?
Wheel bearing? Diff problem?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers
-Nick
