Bought a new set of Nexen n8000's for $536 fitted (stock rims). Grip is amazing and no road noise , i'm yet to lose traction on dry or damp roads. Will take them to the track and report back but so far I'm super impressed, especially for the price.

Hey guys...

Any experiences with Dunlop SportMaxx RT tyres? afaik they are good tyres but with rubbish wear. Any feed back would be good before i make a decision...

Good for road according to who? You get fed a lot of rubbish I'm sorry to say. I have had the RS3's and they were pointless as a road tyre. No grip until hot, wore out in a matter of months, etc.

Also, from memory, I'm sure it states it not being legal for road use on the tyre. That could have changed, but have a gander for yourself maybe.

Wut? I assume you are thinking of the Z221 R-comps, not the Z222 road tyres?

RS-3's are a road tyre just like AD08's. I run them on the evo and they are just a high performance street tyre, no need to 'warm up'. And perfectly legal...

Since they are cheaper than AD08's, that makes them even better

What year did you have z222s mate? You had the ver1 with 100 treadwear rating...things have changed- a lot...things change mate, your experience if was with the v1s is not current.

Anyway if it wears out faster gives me a chance to go less wide tyres faster, so be it.
