This post is for the most part directed at Dan, but I'm looking for photos to compare 17x8" rims on 215/45 vs 225/45 vs 235/40 tyres. I've been going through some of the old for sale threads, but most of the time they're the tyres minus rims.

Some help pls.

Hi ya'll,
Looking at rubber for Targa West.
Any quality feedback on the Hankook 221's? 235/40ZR18...
And best shop / interweb's page to source?

Age old comparison price versus brand versus quality rubber...

Cheers

Kostera's as above, Hankook motorsport dealer for WA. Seems like every week there's a new stack of RS3's or 221's there so people certainly buy them, haven't heard any complaints!

Can anyone recommend some aggressive street tyres for me?

I like the Hankook RS3 but just want to see what other options there is before I make any decisions.

There is also some Toyo RA1 tyres that look appealing but I don't know if they are a good street tyre or not.

90% of my driving is through mountains, up and down twisty roads.

I'm looking for 245/40R17 for under $250 each

Currently I have Kumho KU39's and find them noisy so I'd like to try something else (I have 2 sets of wheels).

You can have good grip on the twisty stuff or cheap. Not really both.
Good tyres cost money.

Would suggest Yokohama AD08R for excellent grip.
