But he could put 235s on them too... that dude just wanted the stretched tyre look I guess.
Or would anything 235 or more not be good as it would hit the arches... Anyone on pdiddy running 18x9 +20 on a gd? or any 18s with +20

No he had to put 225's on because it wouldnt fit otherwise. Even 18x9 +36 with a 245 will rub.

I run 225s on 18x8.5 and that's already starting to push it, I wouldn't want to run them on 9s personally. 235s at the least.

Have a quick you should find a site pretty easily that you can compare your current set up to your desired and it'll give you a rough idea of how much more wheel/tyre you're trying to squeeze in. Secondly email wedsport and ask they'll have a pretty good idea of what will fit and what won't. Do you want a car that'll look mint parked but impossible to drive or a car that's looks nice and is practical for track and everyday duties. I'm assuming it's the later if you're looking at wedsports.

And even with +36 offset you will need a decent amount of camber, so you will need either too hats or camber bolts.

From what Doug said to me last night at rally sprint, he is currently running Enkei RCT4's in 18x8.5 +30 and he said to get a fitment that is able to be raced he as had to change the control arms (i belieive) and im just going to say a few other things to pull the wheel in towards the car + rolled gaurds and what not too. From watching the car i think he has managed to get them to fit nicely as they are no longer rubbing. Also Taylor runs 18x8.5 +44 TC105N's and at Collie he had to raise the rear of the car to stop it from rubbing through corners. Both of them are running sensible fitting tyre so nothing streched .
