i would sell as is or go with the rebuild of std motor, the 2dr is rare and ya wanna keep it as origional as possible, thats what i would go for on mine anyway.. a possible buyer may want to do the build themselves so can work out for buyer and seller..

I think this is a good idea

1) new owner might want to rebuild original motor to keep all the numbers as factory.
2) new owner might want to go all out with big hp combo.
3) new owner may have other plans.

put it out there as is, see what response you get.

Go get a genuine quote in writing... including drive-in-drive out price..

And perhaps take that price off 26,500...... Offer that option to new buyer ?

Offer it to the buyer you had on this deal. Never know might be keen.

If you had a genuine buyer at 26k i would see if they are interested with the new motor considering the market has dropped for any car atm....
