get a new AFM now before it inevitably dies.

If its stock, then go and ask a subi dealer. As above, the AFM will eventually die, but you will know when it does. Watch out for the 100k service... its a killer coz they do everything.

If its been modified then you should approach a workshop about some sort of schedule and discuss it with them. It can also help if you're mechanically minded and do some things yourself. eg: I saved a shitload by doing my brakes myself (thanks Ross).

List your mods and k's and people will jump in. I have a copy of the MY00 manual which gives you the standard subaru servicing schedule.

The car is not stock. It currently has cold air intake, it has most probably stock AFM, Apexi FC Commander, 3" exhaust, suspension, silicone turbo inlet, strut bar, SAFC/AVC-R. thats about it...

it will probably have a z32 afm to go with the pfc. look for a pic on the net and compare what it looks like. the two usually go hand in hand. get it serviced and a power run to check all is well. tenagah are doing $50 power runs in a few weeks. cheap piece of mind
