I'm not an expert but a similar sorta thing happen to me a few weeks ago. My two problems was a clutch fluid leak and clutch hose was stuffed. RAC said my clutch hydraulic was stuffed though. Ring Tomme at subaru ozzy park he got me back on the road same day =D He'll tell you what it most likely is. Hope this helps.

I think maybe a destroyed thrust bearing on the clutch.

Think your right mister. I shouldn't have driven it more. Will get a button clutch this time and lightened flywheel while ok there.

If you find a lightened flywheel for a 6 speed thats reasonably priced let me know.

I found one in Japan for $500 landed but its not as light as I would like it. 6.8Kg. Hoping to find something under 6Kg

Also did my clutch today, on boost in third backed off the throttle, to shift off boost. And then the clutch stayed down.. :S

It hardly works now, drives in all gears, but horrible to get up a driveway that goes incline.

Also have/ or had a heavy duty clutch!

Did you put the fork spring back and hold back the rod on the slave cylinder when/if you bled the clutch hydraulics?
