Default Battery Disconnection

Hey all,

Had a few trys at searching, havnt found anything as of yet. Wondering, im going on holidays and am not going to have my car being driven. I am in need of some advice. If i disconnect the car battery, as i dont want it to go flat, will this have any adverse effect on my PowerFC ECU (tune or otherwise)? Will it have any adverse effects at all? Reason i ask is as soon as i get back from holidays, my car needs to be up and running as its going to ASG for a turbo install + tune that same day i fly back in.

Also, from anyone elses experience, is there anything else that should be done you reckon when going away for extended periods of time?

Thanks in advance,

Eric

EDIT: On a side note, would anyone know what gearbox oil ASG would stock? Or where to get a good gearbox oil? Redline shockproof or motul for a good price?
