ej207.

ej207 is a member of the ej20 engine group. the term ej20 covers a broad range of 2L engines from subaru.

Ok, I nearly had a heart attack because i read on my block EJ20. I thought i had been jipped into buying a standard wrx engine with a red manifold thinking it was a STI engine. My block has EJ20 on it, does this mean it's still got the forged internals?

Please do!!, I'm fucking stressing ATM. I might have to go and kill someone if this is a stock WRX bottom end. It was sold by JWS as a Jap Spec Version 6 STI. It came with a stock WRX intercooler and i was like WTF!!!... Now i have spent thousands on Mods and will be seriously pissed if I have been screwed.

Does anyone know if the block should say EJ207??? Does the Version 6 have forged internals. I was under the impression the Version 6 had a EJ207 bottom end with forged internals.

my sti v6 engine had only ceramic coated aluminum pistons.

some variants of the GD sti has forged internals.
