No, that number is a refrence to the solenoids duty cycle, every car is different.

Gain depends on your specific car/ turbo/exhaust/filter again, every car is different!

START AT 0 on both settings and work upward in small (single digit) changes until you hit your target boost.

Why are you trying to used an aftermarket boost controller on a car that can be (and you say has been) Verso'd?.....

It's not engine safe, is unreliable etc, a trap for inexperienced people.

Why don't you get a decent tune rather than a band-aid fix?

Your sig says you have a verso........REALLY?
Verso uses the factory (reliable/failsafe) boost system. Why are you fitting an EBC???

Yeah they love the sand, can't wait to get the hatch on the road.
some rally tyres and The WRX wagon will love it in the sand. The extra lift from the Forrester springs will make it more of an off roader. I reckon let the tyre pressure down stop it cutting into the sand so much. It makes me want to take mine off-road again. When I took my WRX to Nannup it was the best time I ever had in it. Lost is a few times and roughed it up a little but I didn't care. I was having too much fun. All I could hear was the deafening sound of stones flicking up underneath my car... As soon as my cars back on the road I’m getting tearing it up.

Not sure what happened to that last message but half of it was missing. That wagon will be awesome with fat tyres. Be sure to take some more footage if you rip it up in the dunes again. I'm still waiting for this dam timing belt I ordered from Ebay. It's been 7 days and still nothing. Starting to get worried it wont turn up. $230 belt as well, better be there monday or i'm going to get on their backs about it.

Are you saying the EBC is unreliable? Or just not to use it in his situation.

Verso uses the factory boost control system, boost level set by the tuner.
Why would he want to run an ebc if he has a Verso?.......perhaps there's no verso at all?

Engine could become unreliable if the ebc is not set up correctly i.e boost spikes etc.

Yeah, makes sense. But the stock boost controller can only cope with a certain amount of boost. Is that rite?? Maybe he want's to go crazy on the boostige haha. Or maybe he likes the pretty lights on the controller unit.

It can easily control more boost than a stock engine/turbo can handle.

Maybe he wants to be able to show his mates how easy it is to pop an engine (midrange boost spike) if you don't know what your doing with an EBC.

If he wants the lights, plug in it's map sensor but no wastgate lines. It'll still flash and beep etc but he won't be able to fuck anything up.
