whiteline gear in general is a poorer finish to Cusco/Tein etc
the use of nylon is over the top, and the nuts and bolts they supply don't even look or fit factory.

A Cusco 22mm sway is so much better than a Whiteline 22mm sway its not funny. Plus you dont get the lubrication install issues like the Whiteline stuff. My answer to the argument on which is better is that I replaced all my Whiteline gear with Cusco gear. In saying that, the Whiteline is good value for money, but value and availability in Australia does not mean the best.

Nothing wrong with Whiteline gear for the money.....the majority of people won't have a problem with it, seriously. It's good gear.
Cusco is just awesome gear, and especially when you're really going full house with your suspension setup i.e. all the bars and braces available, you're going to see a massive difference using the Cusco gear. If you're just going to fit an ALK and a front and rear bar, Whiteline is great. |

Thanks guys, As far as Whiteline vs Cusco same as what has been said it never fits 100% perfectly, sqeaks and the finish is fairly poor.
I am having a change of heart regarding springs though and I think I will just get coilovers. jme what coilovers did you end up running in the liberty? TEIN?? I can get DMS but bang for buck I am not sure if they are worth it. Does anyone have experience with the in car adjustable Teins? any good or just gimicky?

A friend of mine runs the in cabin adjustable TEINS. He also works for WA Suspension. He loves them as his wife also drives the car they can adjust the ride comfort with a flick of a switch, as his wife doesn't like a stiff ride like her husband does. (That sounds so wrong)

i got dms40's on my luxo'wrxpress, supply & fitted 3500.
if you want the liberty to handle and feel like a wrx then by all means get a set, just don't lower them within a 1mm of its life, captive springs ftl! mine is about as low as it can physically go. with 19's its hard to get that low low look. i ran around with stock 17's for a few weeks as the simmons's got repaired and the smallest of speedbumps became painfull. it was that low you couldn't even fit your foot under the rear sideskirt......it does look amazing, especially as the rears swallow the tyres. i failed to worry about top-hats, on the fronts, as this would raise ride height by another 10-15mm but i do crave a few more negative cambers. polarbear spec phone camera pic, |
