My Jap Spec version 6 STI enigne has EJ20 printed on the block. Must still be forged internals.

02-05 aus spec sti's had semi closed and forged pistons

02 sti jdm had forged pistons

03+ sti jdm had hypereutectic pistons

v5 and v6 had open deck with forged pistons.

You will need to purchase more parts after buying short block?? or will it bolt onto gc8 ej205 heads ect?

just new gaskets and stuff.

if you have more money to burn, you should consider different heads.

I was told 05 spec C heads were the highest flowing aswel.
