I may have, I see how he is backing me up, sort of, but I mainly see him having a dig at me for offering to match prices.
Sorry for the reply if I am taking it out of context...

Nah, you took it the wrong way James.
I wanted to point out that we as a group (the WA based workshops who purchase engines through the proper WA dealer supply) should not feel the need to price match these kinds of offers.
These engines are already available in W.A. for less than the cost of re-building one, they are excellent value at anything under $3k.

Try reading the thread before posting mate.

Also are you looking to purchase and do the installation yourself or have someone do it for you?

I'd do this.

Close down that web browser. It'll send you crazy googling shit for hours on end, trust me I do it all the time.

Call my main man.. My back up.. My WRX Rock. Dave at Stechnic, this guy is a champ, he's honest he gives out free advice, he is a top bloke and if he isn't sure hell ask one of the Subaru freaks in the workshop and I mean freaks these guys know more than most.

No I don't work for them and I never have, I've spent a lot of money at Stechnic and the quality of the work, the relaxed feel at the workshop.. Everything about them is impressive.

To get back on track.. If you want a 207 give a WRX workshop like Stechnic a call and ask them where you might find one, if anyone knows it'll be somebody who fits them.

My 2c

Post up quote when you find out how much.
