Hey Chad!

They say they have 3 available....I'd email the seller and ask if they still have the other two.

$2600 is a good price depending on the freight costs.

Anyone know who has the cheapest 207's now?
Jarvis Subaru has them for $2600 + $99 freight on eBay.

Just on this, for anyone playing at home that might be new to it. Make sure you get the suppliers warranty of some sort on the parts incase the unexpected happens. Last thing you want is a failure then the blame circle begginging.

Have subaru sorted out the the issues with the 207 with the big ends going or was it just a few isolated cases with MMS?

Cheers

Definitely a few isolated cases.. I'm told its 2 or 3 in every 100 or so EJ207's that fail, it has been that way for years.

It certainly wasn't just a few isolated MMS cases...more rife than that and probably something to do with the change in bearing material which caused the issues with the '08's (ie less lead content).
Has been rectified in the production car engines but ther may well be a number of engines still out there with the issue. My advice would be to upgrade the bearings anyway just to be sure.

It happened at all different workshops however mine was aparently not the issue. There was something a little more too it. Just check it out of it has a warranty in case of failure. Chances are the workshop blames the supplier, supply blames subaru, subaru blames the workshop and so it daisy chains.
