So you know when it's at proper operating temp.

cold oil = high pressure but low flow & BOOM!

i was thinking of getting the exhaust temp one as i am concerned about AFR's and the like... my car overboosts above 5000rpm running stock everything but exhaust, intake, pump.
If you are TRULY concerned about AFR's and the like then I would put the money you want to spend on gauges into getting some accurate form of boost control and having your vehicle tuned by a trusted professional.

guages are a waste of time - i got all the above apexi e2's and would suggest you spend your money elsewere - u only ever need a boost guage.

I will be taking mine out next services....if something bad is going to happen the gauges wont help one bit.

like someone said above - spent the $900 or so on a good tune - more bang for your buck

Gauges are only a waste of money if you don't understand what to look for i.e. first indication of a problem.

Unless you happen to glance over as a problem is occuring, gauges will never stop anything. If anything they will just remind you that something is broken.

They are handy for monitoring and preventative (i.e. things getting too hot) but you can't think that by having gauges you will notice your oil pressure drop and save your engine.

In saying that, I had the Defi BF Boost, Oil temperature, Oil pressure and exhaust gas temp - and I loved them .
