likely the tuen was fine, fuel pump couldn't keep up!

yeah hopefuly its just a piston if so put factory 207 sti piston in no real reason to change them, then upgrade fuel system and dyno to check everything out.

if its ripped the top off the piston.. that only really happens if engine given shit when cold due to there forgies

its eather that or conrod... cant really be anything else from the sound of the engine noise

yeah i hope , if u think about it this is a expencive project for someone earning under 17k a year . so i hope its just a piston

yeah ill pull the engine out at home and make a mess lol.

just get frustrated on things going wrong constantly . aw well bad luck ill fix it and go from there cheers guys

ehhh if u decide to go on holidays for a couple days down in perth lol. nah ill be right piece of piss to pull out more the fixing the engine side of things is a pain

loud knocking as a matter of fact due to a spun bearing which resulted to a melted rod and a displaced piston..

so the thing is, do not EVEN drive it when the knock was there.

A new EJ207 can be bought for under 3K as well as get yourself a proper tunable ecu like a PFC, ECUtek, Links etc. Also, fuel pump is also critical. never wanaa let ur car run lean again.
