I have no idea what would have caused the shaft to become unseated...... Any ideas? A little nudge with a lever and it popped back in......tried to get it out again and it's tight as...

I have seen the shafts become dislodged on other cars when they were in the workshop getting the struts replaced and the control arm was left to hang with the wheel still on the hub. I have even seen the CV come apart for the same reason. This was not on Subaru's though... And the tech's working on them, well let's just say they weren't really all that tech!! Nearly tore off the brake line at times too...shakeshead...
