did they even take the car for a drive? if they didn't they wouldnt have had a chance to hear it on boost, thus not hearing ur external gate. they probably opened the bonnet and didnt really know what they were looking for anyway. Just know what a BOV is because they have seen them before...

If i ever get a licky, im coming down to Bunbury to get it over :P

haha, yeah good idea. He took it for a drive and i could hear it on boost as it was heading down the street. I think he was just more concerned with things that are ACTUALLY DANGEROUS...

At least they had some common sense to let it go. What is the Db legal limit in perth? Can you just get universal silencers from a super cheap auto?

Long story short, I got a yellow last night.

Offences: 'balding tyres', loud exhaust (fair enough) and boost guage on A-pillar.

The tyres are a week old and have 95% tred on the outside. I think the cop was on crack! (it was dark, but still, how can you not tell they were fine).

I have a permit for the guage.

Will this yellow affect me at the AHG day this weekend if I still have it on the car? Is my car deemed 'not roadworthy' and hence I can't participate?? This would suck as truthfully it's stock and safe, bar aloud exhaust!!

Thanks guys for any info

OK, I'm taking this sucker over. Just a couple of questions if anyone can help:
* Where might I find a silencer for my exhaust? Supercheap-type places or a propper exhaust shop? It's just like a Supercat 3.5"exhaust (from what i can see).

* Where is the best place to go and what time. I was told Warwick has been good to lots of people. Is early morning best or does everyone have that idea?

Thanks in advance guys
