hey guys, just wanting some feedback on intercoolers. I just fitted a 3" TBE on my my99 wrx and have saved up a bit of cash for my next mod (intercooler). Obviously there are front mounts and top mounts so i just wanted some opinions on what to get....

search there is a heap of info out there

not much point if your turbo is standard. All a front mount will do is increase lag. Even if tuned properly gains would be minimal if any.

Keep saving and search and see what most other people are doing.

Eg vf34 sti top mount and supporting mods ie fuel pump etc etc

Unless your upgrading your turbo your wasting your money.

STi Top mount for throttle response. Front mount for outright KW. Expect to spend a heap on supporting mods if your going for the KW.

If you go this option, you want to use a later model STI top mount. The GC8 TMIC is the same between the standard and STI except for the colour of it.
