It's interesting as some of the Exotic cars use cross drilled rotors, I know when I was doing my AP's they will ask is it street driven or track, and specify slotted for track.

'drilled' really are only good if you're using a high quality product (track bias). The oem one piece discs from my 996 were infallible. I had some MASSIVE heat cycles through them without any issues whatsoever. Be interestings how these survive after a few decent track outings.

Porsche also allows 5mm long radial cracks out from the vent holes, as long as they don't link up you're a o.k.
