Default New Brakes for the STI

After getting sick of driving my car with worsening warped DBA650 slotted's..... I bought a set of these:



Protex "ultra Street"

They look nice fitted (I polished the Subaru name on the calipers just for shits & giggles)



Stops niiice... will let you know how they go once bedded in properly.

What do think?

Yes, cracking is a certainty. If they're cast holes instead of drilled you will get better life, but cast vented discs are as expected more expensive.

Vent holes are cast in and also pass through the edge of the inner cooling vanes, which *should* help reduce cracking.
