Yes, cracking is a certainty. If they're cast holes instead of drilled you will get better life, but cast vented discs are as expected more expensive.

Vent holes are cast in and also pass through the edge of the inner cooling vanes, which *should* help reduce cracking.

Street driven should be OK, I wouldn't be using them for track work though.

My car is 99% street anyhow.
