Haha, Yeah i'm just going to enjoy the car till the fucking thing dies in the ass. Do you think it will pose a problem bringing the car over the pits. I'm going to turn the boost rite down on the day I take it.

How long did that noisy turbo last? Did you replace the oil seal or was it not reparable?

i wouldn't stress too much brendan. my standard vf28 has been noisey now for well over 6 months and repeated attempts at killing it with antilag has failed so my advice would be have a replacement sitting there (in my case i have a vf36 twin scroll conversion) enjoy the car as you have already paid for install/tune so you might be lucky, it might be 6+ months before it decides to give up the ghost.

stress less enjoy more!

Am I the only one thinking you should have asked ASG what they thought was wrong with it?? It's not like we can hear it on here to give you an idea. They are very familiar with turbos, so surely Nick could have explained to you what he thought was wrong with it if you asked him.

Well the turbo was a straight swap for my VF29 so there was no money exchanged. Nick at ASG just said he wouldn't expect it to last long. I'll just use it and be happy for now. Deal with the problem when it arises. I'll just tell people I have a crazy turbo and thats just the sound it makes. haha
