Apparently they can rebuild so called un-rebuilable turbo's ( I.e My Smart Brabus one & Nissan Z30ddti turbo's for example).

I'll go and and get a quote to see what they can do. Probably cost around 1500 clams to rebuild one.

I had a nissan one rebuilt for $650 including new CHRA.

How noisey are we talking? My 34 is pretty whiney, no noticeable issues with it .. And it terms of your power, might be touch under what you expected buy mine made 250 odd hp on the ASG dyno at around 20pound, so it's not far off.

What oil are you running?

if was to cost $1500, wouldn't it be better getting a new one.

I'm running Mobil 1. What mods did you have when you got 250hp on the dyno. Also when should the boost kick in with a VF34. I swear mine is only coming in at around 4,000rpm maybe even later. Shouldn't it be coming in under 3,000rpm.
