Hmmm where to start.

If you go a 2.7 you'd need to prep a 2.5L to suit or require a fully prep't block if you want to go down this route. 10k+ short motor at a start without exaggeration. It would be an extremely 'lazy' motor. Whats your end requirement? What do you want to do with it?

Just swap a 2lt JDM Twin Scroll Spec C motor into it, it will be much cheaper
and less chance of going bang than with the 2.7

Race Torque have done at least one.

Give Lane a call and have a chat to someone who has done one rather than listen to opinions on here from a heap who have read this that or anything else.

Have thought about the cosworth 2.65 kit but while the 2.5 is still hanging in there I really can't be bothered.

Steve at MMS has built one also.
both RT and MMS used the Brian Crower stroker kits.
I believe these combinations make fantastic torque but don't have a very long service life due various reasons including poor rod to stroke ratio and that because of the longer stroke to piston skirt has little support ar bottom dead centre.

Reliability is the main focus... instead of just getting forged pistons, rods, cranks and etc.... thought i'll just go the extra mile and get the stroker kit which has it all... Dont know how much extra work it'll involve but will soon find out....
