Default oil leaking from blitz b.o.v

hello,
havnt had my gc8 wrx for long but i noticed a fair amount of oil is lost out the bov? im pretty sure most cars with atmospheric bov's do this but im not sure how much is good if any is after about two trips id say theres about 10ml on my carport and probably more than that in the engine bay :O

i want to either get an adapter so i can plub back the one i have or go with a hybrid one. will this be bad for the engine if it continues to leak oil and i have a plub back setup?

cheers

Its not your bov its more than likely your turbo...

I have atmospheric too and none at all comes out of mine..

take the hose off your intercooler and that goes into the inlet manifold and check how much oil is in there....

Your seals on your turbo are more than likely knackered...

Oil vapour from the crank case. Coats the walls if the intercooler piping and pools in certain places.

Get a catch can if its a real problem.

more likely a breathing issue than a turbo issue,

how healthy is the engine?

how many Kms has it done?

get a leak down test done to deterine the engine's health.

Is the sump over-full?

That will increase blow-by also.

ok.. it already has a catchcan installed and it appears empty? the engine is a transplanted 257 with forged internals and vf39 built by maximum motorsport so there will always be blowby on cold start up (i let it warm before driving though), has approx 15000ks since rebuild, changed the oil and filter the other day and the level appears right on full.

unable to do anymore testing to next week because im up at work. hope this infomation helps?

I would be speaking to MMS. They built the engine so should be the best to advise you on it...

is it blowing smoke on start up? if so its most likely your turbine seals. put some pics up.
