Not working HOW exactly......

What gauge are you TRYING to use?

Reading full rich or lean?

Display blank?

Numbers running up and down between AFR's 13.5 & 16 in cruise?

Some details of your problem might help you get an answer!

If your AFR gauge is anything like mine, during highway driving it (should) run back and forth between lean and rich in constant arcs, picking up pace depending on engine rpm. And similarily when flooring it, I'm pretty sure it will always shoot into rich and stay there.

o.K..............The operation you see it totally normal for an OEM NARROWBAND O2 sensor.

The cycling you see is called closed loop control.....The ecu cycles the mixture rich-lean-rich-lean in cruise mode to save fuel and keep the cat(s) working.

The sensor is only capable of seeing Rich or lean (0 -1volt) with stuff all accuracy.

You need a wideband Sensor and controller like this Tech Edge unit to see anything worth while or meaningful from an O2 sensor.
Widebands have approx 50,000 voltage (Mv) steps from 0 - 5 volts, compared to 200 steps for the 0-1 volt narrowband sensors.

The narrowband gauges are pretty flashing lights and not much else......

Rear O2 would display leaner than the front one......

Either way that gauge will show nothing relevent or usefull, apart from showing you when the sensor dies (It'll display full rich constantly) and at what point the ecu uses closed loop.
