cutting straight to it, not sure what ive done wrong-

last night i removed and refitted an engine to an automatic impreza,

having never done this before (never ever worked on an automatic) ive just pulled the engine and refitted like i would a manual, having no idea what i was doing really i didnt unbolt the torque converters from the wobble plates or anything like that...

anyhow, i suspect ive knocked this clip out when i reassembled it all, and curious to know if this is a common amatuer mistake with automatics?
