Default V6 STi - Exhaust

Ok lads I have decided I might go to the dark side and get a non stock exhaust on the rex....Finally!

What would you recommend? I want something with a nice (not to loud) rumble that will bolt onto a stock engine with no mounting modifications and will fit under the stock rear bumper....Can't effect the stock tuning either of course...

Want to be able to fit the stock system again for re-sale later on down the track.

Can fit myself easy enough.

Don't want to spend truckloads but has to be a good setup.

Does anyone on here have anything suitable for sale even?

Cheers in advance.

Chris

ps. there are probably thousands of threads on this but I couldn't find anything specific....

Troy at Prospeed (Rexnet) has some on special at the moment, they are for the GD series but you only need to get the rear hangers changed.

I think the brand is Hypertec

MMS/Butler exhausts FTW

Full 3" turbo-back with oval muffer, straight bolt on, will work with stock ecu

About 1700-1900 new i think, or 900-1100 secondhand

Best sounding exhaust on a rex is the HKS HiPower 409...check it out on youtube link below...I love mine...

Bolting a full system onto mine made it laggy without a tune, i was running a diff back only for a little while and that was ok.

Put a twin tip X-Force VAREX muffler on it? Remove std one, install new one.
