Default Clunking Noise

Ok, so she's just come back from repairs from wheelsworld after my housemate managed to bend the rim and wreck some of the suspension on the curb. Replaced lower control arm and a few other bits and pieces.

The past two days (we're now going 5 days on from repairs) whenever i turn the car under load (bit of speed or get it close to full lock) i can feel and hear a thick clunk from where the repairs were done (front right), only one, not several.

I'm wondering if this could be an impropper installation of the lower control arm (if so i'll take her back in the new year and get it fixed) or could the prang have caused more damage than could have been visible at the time of repair? Possibly to the steering system?

*big shrugs* i'm not hugely mechanically minded, i do know a few bits and pieces but this is getting a bit too specific for me :P

Thoughts? Comments?

Thanks

-Paul
