leave it running with the cap off the header tank for about 15-20 minutes......keep topping it up as it burps the air out.....EJ's suck to bleed!

i also give the top rad hose a bit of a squeeze seems to help get the bubbles out

back to the overheating though... are your thermo fans coming on?

I has this happen to my car when I first developed a crack in the top tank on my radiator. Used to always tell that it was time to stop and pull over when coolant was spitting through the open vent in the bonnet and onto my windscreen.

Air in the water wont make the car jolt unless its actually cooking/cooked.
Sounds like you've done the damage.

Roll her down the hill to your mechanic of choice and get it pressure tested/looked at.

its got a really steady idle and drives fine, but when i boost or try to, the engine starts to jolt and thats when it starts to heat up... but other than that the car seems fine...

theres no leaks that i can see part from the y pipe under the I/C that i fixed earlier... but its all good

im gonna try to burp it again later on today...see wot happens.

i can only F*%k it right!
